This special two-day event is a rare chance to inspect an expansive range of Dufour Yachts all in one place and also be the first in Asia Pacific to inspect the superb new Dufour 44.
Sea trials may be conducted throughout the two days for genuine buyers, and The Yacht Sales Co. will also host sunset drinks and canapés for guests at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron on Friday evening where Dufour Yachts deputy CEO Mathiueu Fountaine will present details of the shipyard's ODsea+ Smart Electric program.

The Fountaine Pajot Group continues to strive towards its goal of reducing its environmental impact and carbon footprint, and is on track to become the pioneer of environmental transition in the yachting industry.
The company, which manufactures the world's leading cruising power and sail yachts, including Fountaine Pajot and Dufour Yachts, has launched its Odysséa 2024 strategic plan that is aiming for the Group's shipyards to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030.
The strategic plan includes four key objectives to achieve this goal, including reducing recycling and waste in its production processes, controlling and changing energy consumption, promoting low-carbon mobility, and designing and building sustainable boats.
Since 2011, the Fountaine Pajot Group has been integrating renewable energy sources on board its cruising models, especially through the use of a hydro-generation system. Since then, with the construction and launch of the first hybrid electric cruising catamaran, the Aura 51 SMART Electric and the design and construction of the world’s first hydrogen-powered sailing catamaran, the Samana 59 Smart Electric REXH2 prototype, the Fountaine Pajot Group has become a leader in the green yachting industry.
Now, the company's Smart Electric system has been designed to be installed on every boat in its sailing catamaran range. By 2025, 50% of Fountaine Pajot catamarans will be fully electric and 100% will be fitted with solar panels, and by 2030, the Group aims to make 100% of its fleet electric with diesel engines completed phased out.

The sailing action starts at the Squadron at 11am with participants returning back to the dock around 3:30pm. After a fun race on the Waitemata Harbour, return to the Dinghy Locker for food stations and live music. Then stick around to catch all the action in the first races of the 37th America’s Cup starting at 1am and showing live on a big screen.
For kids aged 6-16 years, RNZYS is hosting a Big Sleep In at the squadron where children can watch movies, feast on fish and chips, popcorn and other treats, with games and activities for children/teens and their parents to enjoy. After a few hours’ sleep, all will be up at 12:30am to watch the first races of the 37th America’s Cup. Numbers are strictly limited. Cost is $40 per person includes dinner and snacks (A minimum of 1 adult is required to attend with all children/teens).
