Dufour Yachts has announced the addition of a spectacular new model to its fleet, the Dufour 48.
Offering an unparalleled sailing experience, the new Dufour 48 is a superb achievement by naval architect Umberto Felci of Felci Yachts Design. With an emphasis on ensuring owners enjoy every moment of outdoor living, the model has a range of exterior living spaces, elegant lines and remarkable volume.
Its aft cockpit has been redesigned to deliver even more instinctive, safe and hospitable sailing, and the model is also available with an optional hardtop for additional comfort and protection from the elements.
Movement on deck is simple and natural while underway, and two dining tables provide ample space for entertaining and relaxing at anchor.
The popular aft platform returns as a welcome feature on the Dufour 48, and this genuine outdoor galley is equipped with all the essentials for alfresco dining, including a plancha grill. The yacht also features an innovative forward lounge with optional sunlounges for unrivalled comfort both underway and at anchor.
The Dufour 48 is available in a three or four-cabin layout with either a forward or lateral galley, and the yacht has been thoughtfully designed to feature premium comfort furniture, including exceptional saloon tables by Ardizio Design, as well as extensive storage.
The standard coachroof glazing has been redesigned as longitudinal windows with integrated opening hatches ushering outstanding levels of natural light throughout the yacht’s interior saloon and galley.
The first Dufour 48 in Asia Pacific is expected to arrive in mid 2025 and will be the highly acclaimed Smart Electric version with ODSea+ package and optional hard top over the cockpit.

The event will also mark the Asia Pacific premiere of the superb new Dufour 44, which sets a new benchmark is design, living space and performance.
Sea trials may be conducted throughout the two days for genuine buyers, and The Yacht Sales Co. will also host sunset drinks and canapés for registered guests at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron on Friday evening, where Dufour Yachts deputy CEO Matthiueu Fountaine will present details of the shipyard's ODsea+ Smart Electric program.

The Yacht Sales Co. continues its support of the Asia Pacific sailing industry with its recent sponsorship of the 2024 Eastern Seaboard Regatta from 17 - 21 October.
Organised by The Royal Varuna Yacht Club on Khao Pratamnak in Thailand's Pattaya, this major regatta is in its 16th year and is a major youth sailing event attracting more than 200 young sailors from 14 countries.
The dynamic four-day competition comprises 12 races across four classes, including Optimist, ILCA 4, ILCA 6 and 420 world championship race formats.
This spectacular regattas has grown from a simple Optimas class event designed for sailing clubs to develop skills into a world-renowned youth sailing spectacle.
